The first time I saw Marci’s work I was literally jaw-dropped and it took me less than a minute to stop everything I was doing to inquire and ask (really beg) her to shoot my elopement. We are so lucky that our date was an open weekend because let me tell you, Marci is EVERYTHING!

Throughout planning, she was our greatest resource — offering thoughtful advice, vendor recommendations, and endless encouragement. Beyond her brilliance and talent, she’s one of the kindest, warmest humans you could ever meet — the person you want beside you on the most meaningful day of your life.

She spent the entire weekend with our families, felt like part of us, and left us in tears when she went home. Then she delivered the most stunning gallery imaginable — somehow making even the most awkward among us look effortless.

Marci is so warm and welcoming and instantly felt like a good friend. We were so excited to not only have her capture our special day but to spend it with her. Because of the pandemic, our travel plans for our elopement ended up getting postponed and we had to find a new location. Marci was so helpful in helping us find what location best fit us as a couple and somewhere we would really enjoy. We ended up eloping in Jackson, WY (which was the best decision ever) and officially met Marci the morning of our special day. I was so nervous to meet her because I thought she was the coolest person ever (she is) but as soon as she got to our car, my nerves went away and I was so happy. We had an hour long car ride in the morning to an outdoor hot spring, and my husband, Marci, & I all just chit chatted about our life the whole car ride there and back. I felt so good about the rest of our elopement day after meeting her because she really does feel like an old friend and is constantly hyping you up. There is no way to feel awkward in front of the camera around her!!! After our evening elopement and pictures, we went out to a cowboy bar and ended the night just having some drinks and bonding. Not to mention, I knew she would take amazing pictures but when I tell you my husband cried when she sent us our gallery..... we were blown away. Almost a year later and I still look at our pictures every freaking day. And the best part of all, we made a life long friend. I still keep in touch with Marci and can't wait to be on the same coast as her again so we can spend time together.

Well let me first off say that I could write a book about Marci and everything she has done for me, but I will keep it somewhat short lol. Not only did I study from her at her Joshua Tree Workshop, but she also shot my wedding and oh man I want to cry every time I look at them. As a photographer myself, I was very picky on who I wanted to shoot my wedding. I had followed Marci for years and fell in love with her artistic brain. She thinks about the details, the emotions, the scenery, and so much more and that's what I love most. She doesn't just take a photo, she tells a story with it. She was so great to work with and has such a great personality. We will be friends for LIFE and I can't wait for her to shoot many more milestones in the future. Learning from Marci was just as great as working with her. She really pours her heart and soul into education. Her workshop was very intimate which made the experience even better. There was no competition, just lots fun and lots of learning. So if you are thinking about using Marci, DO IT! You will not regret it.

We really don't know how Marci pulled off being both the greatest energy we could ask for during our destination wedding week and also the single-handedly most talented photographer we've ever encountered. (We film weddings for a living so we know A LOT of photographers ).

Finding someone so aligned to who we are as people was really important for us. But, we had no idea we would instantly gel as if we've known each other for years.
