pastel sundown elopement in the tetons

Mountain, Elopement

Gillian & Matt

This was what I would call the most perfect elopement day anyone could hope for, all thanks to the amazing individuals that Gillian and Matt are. We started with a soak in the hot springs outside of town, playful and beautiful and the most relaxing and creatively fueling way to begin a day. A timeless and effortless beauty- and possibly the most laid back person I’ve ever met, Gillian wanted to wait until the sun was completely behind the mountains to do the ceremony. We spent the June evening eating dinner (and drinking divine cocktails) and then she did a few effortless touch ups in their room, had Matt zip up the back of her perfectly asymmetrical gown, and put on some white cowboy boots to head into the park at 8PM for the last rays of light on Jenny Lake, a dusk ceremony under the Teton range, and the most incredible cotton candy cloud sunset. As we turned to leave out of the park, the moon rose over the horizon as bright as the sun.
